This page. This page went through so many revisions before I finally settled on this. Even after I'd finished the whole comic, I went back and rewrote this page, because I really hated the old dialogue in it and it caused a few plot inconsistencies. I do like this version, though.
Something I really enjoy doing but I don't get to do often due to the nature of all the comics I've done so far is playing with changing perspectives, like in Panel 9 in this comic. The reason I put them in front of the window is simply because I wanted to do Panel 9.
Well, that and the fact that I'd originally written that they were sitting on Amy's bed and Micah reminded me that the underground dragons don't use beds, so I had to put them somewhere else. So yeah, thank you, Micah, for ensuring that I wouldn't have to make a bed for this page. That actually made the entire room easier to make.
I like how it isn't until panel 6 that they're revealed to have crossed their tails, and also the detail where he unfurls his right wing to "protect" her. It's a nice thing to notice.
Thanks. That unfurled wing took forever to make. X-D
Something that bugged me when I'd finished this page was that the speech boxes kept hiding their tails until Panel 6. Fortunately, it wasn't like that in every panel.
